This workshop welcomes everyone interested in the art of Miyamoto Musashi, beginners and advanced.

The workshop is organized by Nguyen Thanh Thien. He has invited Iwami soke, Nagaoka sensei (menkyo kaiden), Yoshihara sensei (menkyo) and Kajiya sensei.

This workshop offers for the first time an extensive week of learning with the 11th soke of Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu assisted by the most advanced members of the ryu. Training hours after hours will enable the teaching to reach deep down. That is the goal of providing 46 hours of teaching/7 days.

Iwami soke is the 11th successor to Miyamoto Musashi. His master was Imai soke. He received the title and function of soke from the hands of Imai soke November 2003. I am his student since 2000 and he has always been very generous in his teaching.

Iwami soke likes to care himself for the beginners. It is noticable during the workshops that he gives his attention to them. In that way, he follows the tradition. It is to the master to set the correct direction to the first steps leading to a long journey.
